WTFN Entertainment is a dynamic television production company, based in Melbourne Australia. It was formed by producers Daryl Talbot & Steve Oemcke in 2001, whose combined industry experience spans 35 years. WTFN creates programs for Australian TV networks & international markets, with a dedicated team of over 50 people; including producers, researchers, writers, camera crews, editors & on-air talent.

House of Gary Pty Ltd was formed by Karina Averlon-Thomas to produce documentaries, corporate videos, tvc’s, animation, graphics design, websites and facilitate general marketing services. Karina has had 9 years experience working both within and consulting to a variety of boutique creative/production agencies and directly to clients in NZ, Australia and the UK. She has worked as a producer, production manager and accountant with a number of broadcast documentaries, large scale projects/campaigns, corporate videos, TVC's, mixed media etc. She is used to running budgets and projects like a tight ship. Her broad understanding of both sides of the production fence and financial fundamentals give her the unique ability to blend her skills to whatever is required and communicate clearly with depth of understanding to both clients and production folk. She has had a lifelong passion for production, the arts and communication on all levels, leading her to embrace the industry with great enthusiasm and energy. Rebel Films produces innovative television for audiences throughout Australia and the international arena. LOVE'S HARVEST [2008] A four part documentary series about small-scale farming. Each episode provides an intimate portrait of two people as they toil through the seasons with their brave ventures to produce high quality food for specialist markets. Devoted to the natural world, at odds with the trend to industrial scale farming, these passionate farmers draw on diverse cultural backgrounds to pursue ideals of sustainable farming. They may be eccentric, they may be small, but they are smart and they are leading us into the future with inspired visions of living on the land. DESERT HEART [2008] In the remote Aboriginal community of Bidyadanga a new art movement has emerged. At its helm is a young Aboriginal man who is well on the way to international fame and possible fortune. Daniel Walbidi paints the desert country that his parents walked out of 40 years ago. Now, with the rock holes, sandhills and salt lakes of their country revitalized through the creation of the paintings, they are determined to go back and show Daniel their desert country for the first time. MARREE MAN [2007] Marree Man is Australia’s first documentary made specifically for mobiles (a Mobidoc). The two-minute film investigates the mystery of a giant drawing of a naked Aborginal man carved into the earth -- seven kms from tip to toe -- discovered 10 years ago in the midst of outback South Australia. The drawing, which can only be seen in its entirety from 4000 feet in the air, is known as the Marree Man. Born from a union of remote bush experience and the edgy world of film and entertainment Rebel Films has emerged as a key player in the Australian television industry. Established in 1998 by writer/director DAVID BATTY and producer JENI McMAHON, Rebel Films produces innovative television for audiences throughout Australia and the international arena. Rebel Films mission is to deliver fresh, energetic and entertaining documentaries that celebrate the human spirit. Recent productions include "THE TWILIGHT SAMURAI" by Yoji Yamada, which was presented in competition at the 53rd Berlin International Film Festival and was also nominated for the 76th Academy Award as Best Foreign Language Film. Founded in 1895 and starting off with Kabuki theaters, Shochiku now has established itself as a leading motion picture/theater producer, distributor, and exhibitor. Shochiku have produced Yasujiro OZU, Hiroshi SHIMIZU, Keisuke KINOSHITA, Kenji MIZOGUCHI, Akira KUROSAWA, Nagisa OHSHIMA, Takeshi KITANO, and keeps on introducing many talented directors inside and outside of Japan. Shochiku also acts in the Japanese film industry as an active independent distributor, and as for the exhibition side, Shochiku holds five theater lines, encompassing all of Japan. It holds its own video label and distribution system, and is involved in TV production. In 2003, Shochiku focuses on Yasujiro Ozu's 100th anniversary of his birth, having special screenings and retrospectives around the world.
