Save Kids' TV Campaign Supported by Calon
One of Britain's largest independent animation companies, Calon, is spearheading a new campaign for Save Kids' TV. Its creation of a 60-second animated television ad highlighting the potential crisis of British children's TV programming was launched at Showcomotion recently. The politically-fuelled TV trailer featuring Scrooge as the government, stealing Tiny Tim's piggy bank savings and kicking him down the stairs, is deliberately provocative to inspire passionate debate. Recent restrictions in advertising have led to a crisis in UK production for children's television.
